Dell have brought out the replacement for the Inspiron 11z it’s the all new Inspiron M101z, so what’s new exactly with this machine? First up is the choice of processor, the buyer can choose either the AMD Athlon II Neo single core or the AMD Athlon II Neo single dual processors and battery that is said to be good for 6.5 hours which is great for a machine of this size, but it depends on how the machine it run of course.

One day we will have to try and find out exactly which laptop or netbook has been cloned the most, one thing is for sure the Sony Vaio P series will be up there as being one of the most popular clones and now the aptly named Sony Style L80 mini laptop from Shenit.com has gone sale in the US. So what the differences, the L80 has an 8.9 inch display while the Vaio P has 8 inches, the L80 runs a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1 GB of memory and 16 GB of storage, apparently they claim that there is a hard drive in there too, but that could be a mistake

By Chris Moore: As is our way around here at the Laptop Sessions, I’ve decided to celebrate the release of a new track with an acoustic cover song music video. Big surprise given the title of our blog, eh? Well, tonight I bring you my performance of Steven Page’s forthcoming single “Indecision” off his first solo album proper: Page One (pun intended, I’m sure!), due out September 28th. He just announced the title and track listing yesterday, and I was able to find a live performance on YouTube that sounded like classic Steven Page. It was somewhat difficult to hear the intricacies of the vocals and guitars over the drum sound — due to the quality of the recording — but I have a feeling that the actual studio recording is going to be great.
