How to Replace PC CMOS Battery

All desktop and laptop computers use a special battery called a Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) battery which stores information about your computer, such as the date and time, when the machine is powered off. Normally the Laptop battery re-charges itself whenever the computer is turned on but if it stops working or becomes damaged you will need to replace it manually.

switching from ubuntu to xp

i recently switched from ubuntu to xp.problem is get as far as loading the install files and then reboot fully and start from scratch.need to know if i missed a step or didnt performe the right step.i managed to create a new partition but no luck fully installing it.if any suggestions i would apprecciate it .

Humax FoxsatHD and multi satellite ?

Hi , First time poster – i have a Humax Foxsat HD box currently set up receiving German channels from a fixed dish pointing at 19.2 . I now wish to connect this receiver to my other dish set up for Freesat channels at 28 degrees etc , this has a quad Lnb ready to accept additional feeds . My question is regarding switches – anyone help with suggesting/advising the best switch i should get for my setup- and anything else i would need for basically feeding 2 lnb signals to a Foxsat HD box

GOTHENBURG, Sweden, June 14 (UPI) — German, British, and Swiss researchers have proposed using the sense of smell to help diagnosis early Parkinson’s disease. EA says Xbox 360 can do 3D

We just received a press release from EA claiming that Crysis 2 “will be the first major video game on multiple platforms to take full advantage of true stereoscopic 3D.” Up until now, we’ve been under the assumption that the PlayStation 3 is the only current generation console capable of 3D.
