Samsung launch Q series in UK

The UK are to get the latest addition to the Samsung laptop range, with the Q series, this is a range of three different laptops with a 13.3 inch, 14 inch and 15.6 inch display. The difference is in the GPU and they are the Nvidia GeForce GT 330M for the two larger models, while the 13.3 inch machines has the Nvidia GeForce 310M. These are the specs and features of the interesting Samsung Q series laptop: 15.6 inch, 14 inch and 13.3 inch, all three come with 1366 x 768 HD displays with options of Intel Core i3 – i5 (2.13GHz – 2.4GHz) processors, up to 4GB of RAM, and 320 – 500GB hard drives

Clip on laptop speakers

There are plenty of speakers around that connect to the laptop through the USB port, but most of these either stick from the side of the computer or are free standing, both of these options are all right in the office, but for the travelling computer something else is required. Now Logitech have launched the Z205 speaker system, these connect through the USB as the other types do, but it clips to the top of the laptop lid for great sound and ease of use

Is PC gaming dead then?

Alienware and its PR people have put together some video clips featuring messieurs Ampzz McDonald and Prawny Beaumont talking about the pros and cons of PCs versus gaming consoles, which may or may not interest you. As it happens, I had an Xbox 360 Elite here for a while and can appreciate the slick user experience. The Xbox 360 just works, is quiet, doesn’t look too ugly and anyone can use it.
