What We Are Learning From One Laptop Per Child

As a youngster, I was once given a one-year subscription to the National Geographic. Like most people, I looked at the (wonderful) pictures and promised myself I would read the articles later. A promise which was, of course, never kept (although I did often sneak a peek at the pictures of the women of tribes which have less strict rules on clothing than us).

I have just received the pico projector for my AT&T LG eXpo Windows Mobile phone ( previous post here ), and is it a nice addon – it basically projects whatever is on the main screen up to 66 inch (diagonal size, from 2.66m), with a resolution of 480×320 pixels.

Apple’s apparent filing for the “iSlate” trademark and purchase of the iSlate.com domain has some convinced that iSlate will be the official name of Apple’s rumored touchscreen tablet.
