  The whole TV market is gearing up for 3D TV and LG are there at the front with their 47″ 3D TV and glasses. LG 3D TV will be completely compatible with the Sky+ 3D channel which is due to launch this October. Player Spends $330K (Real Money) On Virtual Space Station

A player insanely rich life form who goes by the name of “Buzz Erik Lightyear” recently spent $300,000 worth of real money on an in-game piece of property in the virtual world of Planet Calypso (formerly known as Entropia Universe). The Sweden produced online MMMORPG-esque game, which kicked off in 2003, features a real cash based economy with a 10-1 conversion ration between real world dollars and in-game Project Entropia Dollars (PED). So what did a cool 3.3 million PED get him?

CES: Google Nexus ups ante for Microsoft, WinMo7 time?

Google’s Nexus One phone isn’t as revolutionary as the buzz would suggest. It’s basically a really nice touchscreen device running a new processor that supports slick 3-D graphics and services. But its debut today still ups the ante for Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer, who is delivering the opening keynote at the Consumer Electronics Show on Wednesday night.

CES: Bargain TV maker Vizio unveils 3-D wireless sets, wow

Even budget TV maker Vizio is getting into the 3-D game with a batch of new sets featuring 3-D capabilities and wireless systems for connecting to the Internet. The Irvine, Calif.-based company today announced its “XVT Pro” series of LED sets in four sizes — 47 inches, 55 inches and 72 inches, plus a 58-inch “cinema wide” model that displays content in a 21 by 9 format

The EU PlayStation Blog have today revealed the cover art for the long-awaited Gran Turismo 5. It features the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, something which journalists are already calling “a car”. Other journalists are reporting that the car will have “an engine” and “wheels”

LG announce launch of new Infinia TVs

Today we got to see for the first time the new family of I nfinia premium viewing TVs. This range includes Full LED Slim TVs and accessories.
