MINI USA has introduce a new MINI road assist mobile application for iPhone and select BlackBerry users. Developed by Allstate Roadside Services, its a free app to MINI owners that allows access to roadside assistance with the touch of an icon. The app connects users to roadside assistance while automatically supplying the service provider with all relevant information about the vehicle, most importantly, its exact location.

It is just typical that Sony decided to show off the wonderful Vaio W in an event in Milan, Italy! After all what has Milan got apart from style, design, warm Italian sunshine and okay I get the point. This computer is more style driven than performance although the performance is also up there in specs too. Hopefully we will be able to get out hands on one these real soon to see just how good it is.

This is the Sony version of netbook, although in Sony’s eyes this word apparently does not exist. Instead, this device is the “Internet Book” could this be new generic name for mini laptops? However, of course this is a netbook by anyone’s standard and because Sony is well known for going in high on the price and there is no reason to expect that this time anything will be any different.

Medion has just announced a new next-gen HD netbook, the Medion Akoya Mini E1312. The new next-gen HD netbook powered by AMD Sempron processor 210U power-saving processor technology, an 11.6-inch HD-resolution TFT widescreen display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels in a cinematic 16:9 format, ATI Radeon TM Xpress 1250 graphics chip and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating system.
