Antivirus Soft Platinum

My friend’s laptop has the Anti virus Soft Platinum installed. This software is preventing any other anti virus program on her computer to work. I have been using TelstraClear cable modem services for many years, in its many different “brands” – Chello, Saturn, TelstraClear – and really enjoy having a plan that provides me with consistently good speeds and reliability (but don’t try calling their customer services line). Digital media in all its different forms is now part of many families every day life

That’s right. It’s “illegal” to use one …

Why You Can’t Use Your Phone’s SIM in the iPad

Apple squanders a delicious opportunity to add its weight to the open-carrier movement. With its decisions about the iPad’s specs, the company not only extends its widely reviled partnership with AT&T, but pointedly makes it difficult to bring your own broadband to its (your!) “unlocked” device

Forget the Tablet — Apple Needs to Rebuild iTunes

Only hours remain until Apple is expected to announce the so-called Moses Tablet — the device that will, of course save every content business while spurring Apple’s stock to new heights. Hopefully, the announcement will also include something far less glamorous: a from-the-ground-up rebuild of iTunes.

Google Voice Comes to iPhone, Apple Be Damned

Google Voice comes to the iPhone — say what? Well, it’s a web app, which means Google has found a nifty way to bypass the Apple approval process. It’s an impressive implementation of HTML5 that is so responsive you may not care if Google’s Voice app for the iPhone remains in limbo forever.

Charge Your laptop Battery in the right way

When you buy a new battery for your laptop, you should know how to charge it properly so that it lasts you for a long time. Usually laptop batteries are lithium-ion batteries. Before you start using them on a full time basis, you should charge the battery completely three times and then discharge it completely three times

After it finally appeared to get through EU approvals , now Russia is threatening to block the merger ( China may follow ), due to their inability to distance themselves from MySQL, which has likely added billions to the cost of this merger and effectively taken billions from the value of the merged company. Here in California, where both companies are located and where we may shortly need snorkels to breathe, it was being reported ( mis-reported?

Introducing the AW2310: an Eye-popping Experience

You still need a pair of funny looking glasses, but 3D technology has come a long way since I saw Jaws 3-D almost 30 years ago. Like many of you, I recently saw Avatar in the theater, and I decided to go for the more expensive 3D ticket.
