Telecom and Vodafone have recently launched the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 which has great looking hardware capabilities but means that the most up to date Android device you can buy from any mobile operator in New Zealand is only running the very outdated 1.6 OS. SE have stated that a 2.1 upgrade will be available sometime in ‘Q4′ although exactly when this will be an how you do this upgrade is not clear. And of course 2.2 will already be out by then
Samsung have three interesting laptops, all are based around the same basic specs, but from then on, these are completely different laptops, as the specs will show. The base model is the 13.3 inch Q330, then the 14 inch Q430 and the top of the range is the 15 inch Q530. Hi all, recently purchased a brand new control pod for the Z-5500 off these forums , received it last week but it doesn’t give any sound with my Z-5500 system – unit powers up, display works, buttons work and it even responds to the remote I already had, but whatever I try there’s no sound – not from any source, not with the internal test pattern. If I remove it and hook up my old control pod in place it immediately works perfectly fine
