Hi all I went to add some cd’s to my computer today and opened the ripping window and went to change the location the files are stored in and found firstly I couldn’t change that, then when I went to rip a cd I get the following message. Windows Media Player cannot rip one or more tracks from the CD I did look online and it seems you needed to remove and re-install media player, so did that but when started it still does the same thing, and won’t rip a cd

Wanted : These Iron Maiden CDs

Hi After a year of extensive use using a scart lead and digital audio out, I have burnt pc and mac compatible data files (up to 6 divx avi per disc) on a mac using toast, on dvd-r dvd-rw dvd+rw and dvd+r, i have also burnt them on a pc using sonic, (data disc) dvd-r, all play fine but the dvd+r and dvd+rw do take longer to read, i know 4 other people with the same players, purchased up to a year apart and all play these discs fine. I have found it will not play mp4 files or divx files which are of very high resolution. Plays region 1 fine, so for £19.99 it was a bargain, i view the files on a Toshiba av42 and a yam amp and the films look great thanks chipchap

Hi all I’m wanting to buy the mrs a 3g been looking on eBay and they are going for around 250-280 which seems stupid considering no warrenty and a year of battery use i could probably buy one and claim the vat back as it’s for business, but it still works out over 300 quid if after Christmas there is likley to be a price drop on paygo hansets then I’ll wait but if not I may as well bite the bullet and buy it for Christmas any advice appreciated thanks

Can’t seem to find one anywhere but thought I’d recently seen a Sony Home Cinema kit but it didn’t have a receiver – everything connected to the sub. Did I imagine it? Hi there I have for sale a bullet / helmet cam kit. The camera is a little over a year old and has been used on one snowboarding trip where it was helmet mounted using the supplied helmet kit. The camera records through your camcorder (mine is a Sony DCR-HC90E but it will work with any camera which supports external lenses) rather than writing to an internal sd card like some of the crappier helmet cams out there and gives great pictures quality at a 4×3 aspect ratio

im looking to spend 500 pounds on an avr and 2 speakers with the plan to add more speakers in the future rather than getting a cheap package, im just not sure how best to spend my budget I want good build quality more than anything else with the receiver, i dont need too many features beyond plugging an optical lead in, and dont want to go second hand as i want something i know will last sound quality is important of course i was going to get a stereo amp bu im not happy with the stereo output of my ps3 and dont fancy getting a dacmagic so ive decided on an avr as at least i can go to 5.1 in the future ive been thinking a denon avr 1910 at 450 pounds and for example two diamond 9 bookshelf speakers or a harmon kardon avr 155 at 250 pounds and some diamond 10.2 speakers is there a big difference in build and sound between the two receivers or is it basically extra features your paying for how would you split your budget between the two?
