Battery Plugged in not charging and battery not detected solution

I have a Dell Vostro 1510 laptop, and when i have the battery charger plugged in, the battery icon says “10% available (plugged in, not charging)”, and if i pull out the cord, the laptop shuts down straight away.

Unified Communications Interoperability Forum: It’s About Time

This week the Unified Communications Interoperability Forum (UCIF) was formed . It amazes me that in many communications areas, interoperability seems to be an afterthought rather than a requirement. Vendors seem to have the idea that if they can keep their solution proprietary, they can make more money.

Research: 1.3 million malicious ads viewed daily

New research released by Dasient indicates that based on their sample, 1.3 million malicious ads are viewed per day, with 59 percent of them representing drive-by downloads, followed by 41 percent of fake security software also known as scareware.

Seagate’s making a big bet on SATA connectors, though the company wouldn’t describe it that way: Its new FreeAgent GoFlex line of hard drives and accessories makes use of the standard interface to offer a wide range of easy connectivity options. Out of the box, the basic drive comes with a USB 2.0 connector. If your next notebook sports a USB 3.0 port, eSATA port, or a FireWire 800 connection, no problem: Just remove the Seagate drive’s back end and plug in the corresponding cable kit (sold separately by Seagate for $20 to $40)
