In addition to sharing the title’s number seven ranking on GameTrailers most anticipated games list, Cox also revealed the following bits of information in response to questions about the game: “There is lots of platforming – climbing, jumping, using the combat cross to swing, grip, rappel and all sorts of stuff !!” tweet and in reply to a question asking how long the game was “looking to be?”, he stated: “around 15 hours for an average player” tweet Nothing too eye popping in terms of the platforming info, but I’m fairly happy with the gameplay length for a platformer

Alienware M15x

The good Amazingly powerful for a 15-inch laptop Highly configurable Adds 16:9 display The bad Configuration options can get expensive Far from portable Keeping the same look and feel as the recent 17-inch M17x version , the Alienware M15x is an imposing black slab of computing power that’s thicker and heavier than most 17-inch laptops. We love having high-end options such as Intel’s uber-powerful Core i7-920XM CPU, and it’s a plus that Alienware has finally gotten on-board the 16:9 display bandwagon; but if you want serious gamer options such as dual video cards or two hard drives, you’ll have to trade up the bigger 17-inch model. While it starts at a deceptively promising AU$2399, our review unit clocked in at AU$4113.90, which is a steep premium for a system with a single GPU and hard drive (not even a solid state one, at that).

The combination of EA Games and BioWare has Mass Effect 2 reaching two million sales worldwide since its release this past Tuesday. EA wasted no time declaring the sequel the first “blockbuster of 2010″ in a press release that hit our box not long ago. BioWare co-founder, Ray Muzyka, stated the following: “Mass Effect 2 is poised to be one of the biggest games of 2010 … We could not be more proud of the game’s universal acclaim and early commercial success.” This is more of the same, as sequels seem to be selling well right on through the economic rut

Dell Adamo Admire Drops Below $1,000

Probably Dell’s best looking machines, the Adamo Admire, has just received a significant price cut that could be the turning point in how many people buy the machine or pass it up and it from the looks of things I would bet a lot of people will find it hard to resist. The Admire sports some pretty nice specs but not some good enough for it’s original price tag. Inside this thing you will find a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with Centrino technology, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 2GB 800MHz DDR3 dual channel memory and 128GB solid state drive.

The Dell Mini 5 Appears

We have seen the prototype of what we thought would become the Mini 5, but it had an initial price tag of around $1,000! Clearly this is not going to fly and therefore when it is properly released the price tag should be around $500 or $600 at a push. This is not what we would expect to find from Dell, especially as there is competition in the tablet and smartbook market marketing a $1,000 mini 5 is going to be difficult.
