About Dell And The Laptops They Make

by Bob Randalph One of the most important things that you need to be sure of when you are planning to acquire a computer is quality. There is no adequacy in buying the cheapest computer that you could find, if, in the end, the equipment will not provide you what you need in terms of functionality and service. Having to buy and modify the computer is one of the major problems users that acquire low grade computers have to face, something that will not happen with a Dell laptop computers.

Microsoft’s Halo, Ubisoft’s Assassin roll into Hollywood

The LA Times has an overview of how Microsoft and Ubisoft are producing films based on their video games, including anime versions of “Halo” and live-action shorts previewing Ubisoft’s “Assassin’s Creed 2.” It’s about maintaining control of the franchise, Microsoft’s Frank O’Connor told the paper: “If you look at how George Lucas held on to ‘Star Wars,’ not just to make money from action figures but to control the direction the universe went in, you can see why we think it’s pretty vital,” said O’Connor, creative director for 343 Industries, the Microsoft division that oversees all Halo products. “Luckily, Microsoft has the resources to enable us to do that.” Maybe it also has something to do with Microsoft’s difficulties getting others in Hollywood to ever produce a “Halo” movie.

brian eno said long ago that the music created in a studio actually shouldn’t be called music, because in essence it was something completely different from what came before. similarly, i think performance of electronic music hasn’t got much to do with performing in the traditional sense. the increasingly abstract discussion about where ‘the musician’ and ‘the instrument’ is in an electronic performance, completely misses the point imo

The ‘Time Switch’ Is Exactly The Same as Any Other Switch

The Time Switch is a design which has its purpose fully 180º backwards. DIY Key-Logger Kit Lets You Spy From Afar

Q: What’s the difference between the USB cable on the left and the USB cable on the right? A: When you plug the one on the right between keyboard and computer, it will transmit every key press to a remote receiver, one secret password or adult URL at a time. The cable is in fact a disguised extension piece, and the round nubbin contains the electronics
